How to Start Karate
Training Fee:
The standard training fee for each session is £6.50 per person.
This is reduced to £5.50 if there are 2 or more people from the same family training together.
(Extra reductions are available if paid Monthly
or if you prefer you pay as you go for classes .
Registration Fee and Yearly Licence:
All clubs have these in order to cover the membership fee and general overheads;.
Other benefits of the registration include:
access to all our locations, special classes and training camps
The yearly Membership to JKIE and includes licence to the NAKMAS Governing Body, as well as the member-to-member insurance. The fee is £35.00 and is renewed annually.
- It is not essential to organise the Registration/Licence straight away - new students can try out a few classes first. For more info, please see the Induction class section.
Our classes are suitable for all ages, starting from 12 years and up to 65!
so there is always a range of ages in the class,
We encourage all new members to start at their own pace, therefore there is no requirement for a particular fitness level or previous experience
On your first class:
All you need to bring is some loose-fitting clothes.
When you arrive, you will be greeted by one of our nstructors who will answer any of your questions and introduce you to some of the other students.
After a few weeks, if you feel happy to continue your training, you will need to register.
